ABOUT US

WE'RE THE NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK

Surrounded by history, The Halfway at Kineton is a 17th century inn in the peaceful hamlet of Kineton. It's the perfect spot for lunch after a morning walk along the River Windrush, a great setting for dinner with friends and a cosy location for an overnight stay.

The pub is steeped in history having previously been owned by Corpus Christi College of Oxford before it was purchased by Donnington Brewery in 1975. It sits in the heart of a small community and is a perfect example of a Cotswolds pub.

You'll be greeted with a warm welcome from Nathan and Liam who have worked together for the past 12 years. Between them they have worked in Michelin starred kitchens, held 3AA rosettes and featured in the top 50 Estrella gastropub awards. Food is their passion and they look forward to sharing this with guests at the Halfway.

The menu will be ultra-seasonal, changing daily. They will be tapping into the local supply chain as well as taking advantage of the plethora of game on their doorstep. Both chefs have described the food as ‘real food’ offering something for everyone who visits. Their mantra for the pub is simple ‘making sure our guests are looking forward to the next visit before finishing their last bite.’ The pair aim to keep things simple, focussing on serving the best quality product and having a good time doing so!
